How we look after your information

Information we collect

To fulfil your order, you provide certain information such as your name, email address, shipping address and the details of the products you order. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on this site. You may also choose to share more information if you contact us directly.

Why we need it and how we use it

We use your information:

  • to provide our services, such as fulfilling your order, sending digital downloads, settling disputes and giving customer support;
  • with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time, such as when you sign up for our newsletter;
  • to comply with legal obligations, such as keeping purchase records required by tax law; and
  • for our legitimate interests in providing and improving our services, where these are not overridden by your rights.

Who we share it with

We share your personal information only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Trusted third parties help us run the shop, such as Stripe (payments), HubSpot (newsletter), Google Drive (digital downloads) and printing and delivery companies. They receive only what they need to do their job.
  • Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, your information may be passed on as part of that, as far as the law allows.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information if we believe in good faith it is needed to respond to legal process, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property and safety of our customers or others.

Our newsletter

If you sign up with your email address, we'll send you news about new products and occasional promotions. We only send these with your consent. Your email address is stored with HubSpot, our email service provider, which may be located in the USA. HubSpot may record whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can see what people enjoy and improve what we send. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide our services and as described here. We may also need to keep it to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for 4 years.

Where your information is stored

We and our service providers may store and process your information in the USA and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Change, restrict or delete your information. Unless we must keep it for legal reasons, we'll generally delete it on request.
  • Object to some of our processing, or to marketing messages.
  • Complain to your local data protection authority.
